Making Investing Easy

01

Clarify Your Goals

We start by talking about what you want your investments to achieve — whether it’s retirement, a future purchase, college savings, or something else. From there, we’ll create a timeline (time horizon) so we know how long your money will be working for you.

02

Understand Your Comfort with Risk

Every investor is different. Together, we’ll figure out how much market ups and downs you’re comfortable with so your investments match your peace of mind.

03

Design Your Portfolio

Using your goals and comfort level with risk, we’ll design a portfolio that gives you the best chance to reach your goals. This includes choosing a mix of investments that balance growth potential and stability.

04

Put the Plan in Motion

We’ll open your investment account at Charles Schwab and transfer in your funds. Once everything is ready, we’ll purchase a carefully selected mix of low-cost ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds) to put your plan into action.

05

Keep an Eye on Things

We continually monitor your account to make sure your investments stay balanced and on track with your plan.

06

Make Adjustments when Needed

Life changes — and your investments should adjust when it does. We’ll make updates to your portfolio to reflect new goals, life events, or shifts in the market.
